Dr. John D. Pilla, M.D. Dr. Pilla has been a full time physician and director of Medemerge since 1987. Dr. Pilla is board certified in Family Practice. He completed his residency at Somerset Medical Center 1984-1987. He was chief resident there from 1986-1987. Dr. Pilla graduated from Rutgers (Robert Wood Johnson) Medical School in 1984 as a member of Alpha Omega Honor Medical Society. He maintains active staff privileges at Somerset Medical Center and is Associate Clinical Professor at UMDNJ/RWJ Medical School. Dr. Pilla is president of Central Jersey Physician Network (CJPN).
Kent R. Ellis, M.D. Dr. Ellis has been a full time Medemerge physician since 1987. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine after doing his residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ellis has extensive family practice experience including 4 years as Captain and Family Physician at Vanderburg Air Force Base. He graduated from Georgetown University Medical School in 1980.
Carol Sgambelluri, M.D. Dr. Sgambelluri joined the Medemerge staff in 1993. She is board certified in Family Practice. She did her residency at Somerset Medical Center and served as chief resident 1990-1991. Dr. Sgambelluri graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1988 and maintains privileges at Somerset Medical Center.
David A. Carrieri, D.O. Dr. Carrieri is a full time Medemerge physician. He is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Carrieri did his residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. He is a 1989 graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Carrieri maintains active admitting privileges at Somerset Medical Center.
Syed Fahim Ahmed, M.D. Dr. Ahmed is a board certified Internist working with Medemerge since January 2001. He graduated from St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ in 1997 and has three years of experience in Internal Medicine. Dr. Ahmed maintains active admitting privileges at Somerset Medical Center.
Yoram Sharon, D.O. Dr. Sharon is a full-time Medemerge physician. Dr. Sharon is board certified in Internal Medicine and completed his training in Internal Medicine at the St. Barnabas Healthcare System. Dr. Sharon served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine in 1998-1999 and was Resident of the Year in 1999. Dr. Sharon maintains active admitting privileges at Somerset Medical Center.
Paul Popeck, D.O. Dr. Popeck is a full-time Medemerge physician. Dr. Popeck graduated from Nova in May 1997 and completed his Family Practice Residency at St. Barnabas in June 2000. He is board certified in Family Practice and was Resident of the Year 1999-2000. Dr. Popeck maintains active admitting privileges at Somerset Medical Center.
Chris DeMasi, D.O. Dr. DeMasi joined Medemerge in 2005. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2001 and completed a 3-year Family Residency at Union Hospital. Dr. DeMasi maintains active admitting privileges at Somerset Medical Center.
Scott R. Strauss D.O. Dr. Strauss joined the Medemerge staff in 2006. He is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University Medical School and John Hopkins University. He is Board Certified in Family Practice completing a residency at Florida Medical Center South. He maintains admitting privileges at Somerset Medical Center.
Tatyana Borisiak, M.D. Dr. Borisiak joined Medemerge in 2007. She is board certified in internal medicine. She completed her residency at Mount Sinai Internal Medicine Program. She has admitting privileges at Somerset Medical Center and is fluent in Ukraine, Polish, and Russian.
Ryan Conover, P.A. Ryan Conover joined Medemerge in 1996 with a B.S. from Wagner College and a Physician Assistant Certificate from Bayley Seton PA program. Ryan has extensive experience in Family Practice and Urgent Care medicine and is the Senior Physician Assistant at Medemerge.
Jean Covino, P.A. Jean Covino, PA-C, MPA, DHSc. Jean Covino has been with Medemerge since 1996. She received her Physician Assistant degree form Bayley Seton Hospital, a Master degree in Health Administration from Long Island University and a Doctorate degree in Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University. She is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at UMDNJ and has had extensive experience in Women's Health.
Jenifer Harding, P.A. Jenifer graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Behavioral Neuro Science. She received her Master of Science-Physician Assistant Degree in 1999 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Mary T. Nowak, P.A. Mary joined Medemerge in 2006. She graduated from Rutgers / UMDNJ with a Physicians Assistant degree in 1996. She has extensive experience with primary care, pediatrics, and emergency medical care.	photo to come
Keron Sinclair, P.A. Keron joined Medemerge in 2007 after completing her training at Seton Hall University obtaining a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
